The crowd rose to their feet as PREZULO FC's Severino Secco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonardo Trancoso. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. If José Maria Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho de Queiroz's late challenge caught a PREZULO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho de Queiroz. After a rather tough play, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Yuri Cearense got a free kick in the 24th minute. Leonardo Trancoso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valdir Ferraz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Cearense in the 28th minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Dida Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute José Maria Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, José Maria Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PREZULO FC the free kick. In the 39th minute, José Maria Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Severino Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho de Queiroz. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualter Tepedino during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Renan Mota was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Valdir Ferraz put in a rough tackle. Valdir Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. José Maria Teixeira in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dida Brasil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Mota in the 78th minute of play. José Maria Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Dida Brasil made a huge save. 83 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PREZULO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Dragon FC - DMZ the free kick. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when PREZULO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, PREZULO FC's Dito Eger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
