In the 4th minute, PREZULO FC's Cesinha Capixaba seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cesinha Capixaba the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PREZULO FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cesinha Capixaba had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 3rd minute, one of PREZULO FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PREZULO FC. PREZULO FC:s Dida Brasil showed great skill when he stopped João Adolfo Marquez:s penalty. Renan Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Carvalho in the 8th minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Dida Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes S.C.CHUÍ got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Fernandes. 17 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Mota came free, but Cido Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Carvalho in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when PREZULO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Chaves came free, but Cido Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, PREZULO FC's Valdir Ferraz got a free kick in the 40th minute. Felipe do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Carvalho in the 51st minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Dida Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PREZULO FC's Renan Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Renan Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Umberto Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Umberto Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the S.C.CHUÍ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Bertassi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when PREZULO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gerson Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. S.C.CHUÍ had won after a very even match.
