Christiano Magalhães hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Renan Quirino struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Alexsandro Netto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupere FC - DMZ. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Kaká Saraiva got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 10 played minutes, Samurai Champions FC's Alex Toledo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adilson Palmeira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Samurai Champions FC reached it. Alexsandro Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexsandro Netto came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Lupere FC - DMZ's Danilo Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Danilo Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Samurai Champions FC's zone, Renan Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Netto came out of the goal and Renan Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Danilo Alvarenga put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alexsandro Netto. When Kaká Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lupere FC - DMZ's protests and gave Kaká Saraiva a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Kaká Saraiva got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Samurai Champions FC's zone, Renan Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Netto came out of the goal and Renan Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Renan Quirino notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Samurai Champions FC's Alexsandro Netto. Alexsandro Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Renan Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Lupere FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Quirino couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Danilo Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renan Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renan Quirino was the one to do the kick off. Samurai Champions FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Danilo Alvarenga scored to the left of an out of position Alexsandro Netto, making the score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Samurai Champions FC's João Pedro da Mata got a free kick in the 56th minute. Zézinho Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Renan Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Alexsandro Netto made a huge save. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Alexsandro Netto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Luís Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Lupere FC - DMZ's Adilson Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Toledo in the 65th minute of play. Renan Quirino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Alexsandro Netto 67 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Lupere FC - DMZ's Danilo Alvarenga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. 78 minutes into the game, Renan Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Alexsandro Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the game, Renan Quirino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexsandro Netto. Renan Quirino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Renan Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. Lupere FC - DMZ played a much better game than Samurai Champions FC and deserved their victory. The Samurai Champions FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
