An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Silveira in the 11th minute of play forced FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper Thomás Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diguinho Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Vianna in the 14th minute. When Diguinho de Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barrera 2.0's protests and gave Diguinho de Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Diguinho de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago de Castro in the 19th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Diguinho Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jano Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Diguinho Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Barbosa in the 30th minute. Cafu Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomás Travassos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Thomás Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Silveira in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Silveira came free, but Thomás Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Barrera 2.0's Luiz Fábio Barbosa got a free kick in the 39th minute. PIRATAS TFP's attentive Hílton da Silva managed to snatch the ball when Diguinho de Godoi made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafu Silveira in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Travassos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cafu Silveira to make the kick off. In the 58th match minute, FC Barrera 2.0 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Velasco to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Barrera 2.0's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedrão Velasco was slow to take the kick. During this time PIRATAS TFP's players had a chance to rest. In the 64th minute, Gerson Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PIRATAS TFP's Pedrão Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper Thomás Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cafu Silveira. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Cafu Silveira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 73rd minute, Durvalino Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomás Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Luiz Fábio Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Barbosa came free, but Diguinho Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Cafu Silveira lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Thomás Travassos. After some careless play in the FC Barrera 2.0 defense, Cafu Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomás Travassos. The FC Barrera 2.0 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Travassos should have stopped the shot. Chants of PIRATAS TFP echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC Barrera 2.0 had held the ball for most of the match.
