Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Mineiro in the 4th minute of play. Breguete FC's Claudinei Proença proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Breguete FC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Artur Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Trancoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Jarbas Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breguete FC's protests and gave Jarbas Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualter Tepedino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Claudinei Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Teixeira in the 23rd minute of the match. Breguete FC's Artur Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Red Dragon FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Claudinho de Queiroz hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Sidnei Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Breguete FC's Sidnei Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. José Maria Teixeiras short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Claudinei Proença to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. José Maria Teixeira came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudinei Proença could save by the left post. Breguete FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Dragon FC - DMZ the free kick. Claudinei Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Breguete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breguete FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
