Reinaldo Damião made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Giorgian Arrascaeta's late challenge caught a Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgian Arrascaeta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Giorgian Arrascaeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Saldanha in the 26th minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Diego Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 33rd minute of the match. Giorgian Arrascaeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Reinaldo Damião made a huge save. Warren FC - DMZ's Maurício Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Warren FC - DMZ's Juan Santos was substituted for Hélder Prata. In the 61st minute, Giorgian Arrascaeta made a precise shot to the right of Reinaldo Damião. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Giorgian Arrascaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgian Arrascaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Damião having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Luciano Bittencourt made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Warren FC - DMZ's Juan Santos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurício Saldanha in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Damião saved Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- from getting behind.
