In the 36th minute, Sidnei Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cido Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Mineiro in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sidnei Mineiro to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when S.C.CHUÍ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position.
