Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 4th minute of play. Bernardo Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudemiro Fragoso's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Bernardo Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudemiro Fragoso went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Warren FC - DMZ defense, Claudemiro Fragoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Moreira. The Warren FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Moreira should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Warren FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleiton Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Giorgian Arrascaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xande Gay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Claudemiro Fragoso took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Moreira. Bernardo Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Hélio Nascimento replaced Claudemiro Fragoso. In the 64th match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giorgian Arrascaeta got free with Xande Gay in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Nascimento in the 71st minute of play. Bernardo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Nascimento in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Bernardo Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Nascimento in the 78th minute of play. If Hélio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Maurício Saldanha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xande Gay. The goal made the score 3-1. Warren FC - DMZ's Domingos Da Guía was substituted for Eliézer Carioca. Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Mavericks from getting a goal against them. Warren FC - DMZ's Peder Ferro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by İslam Tunçbilek, made in the 92nd minute of the game. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Warren FC - DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernando Lucas was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Club Mavericks's players had a chance to rest.
