Vicit FC's Pedro Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Goiano in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Samuca Leão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jano Goiano was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Alfredinho Tasso made a great header on Vicit FC's corner, it was just that 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ's Jano Goiano managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ's zone, Tebaldo Comas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Goiano came out of the goal and Tebaldo Comas tried to chip the ball over his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Amauri Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Amauri Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jano Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Tasso in the 38th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuca Leão was the one to do the kick off. Caco Borges hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Vicit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Luz came free, but Pedro Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Leão came free, but Jano Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Leão in the 67th minute of play forced 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Jano Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jano Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play, Vicit FC's Tebaldo Comas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jano Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tebaldo Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porfiro Catalan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jano Goiano having to make a save. If Tebaldo Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vicit FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Porfiro Catalan hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Leão in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jano Goiano saved 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ from getting behind. Cristóvão Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Pedro Mazza made a huge save. When Vicit FC's Samuca Leão in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Jano Goiano came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vicit FC's Samuca Leão. But to his dismay, Samuca Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vicit FC had won after a very even match.
