Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Red Dragon FC - DMZ defense, Giorgian Arrascaeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Trancoso. The Red Dragon FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Trancoso should have stopped the shot. If Maurício Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Red Dragon FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Gugu Marinho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gugu Marinho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Red Dragon FC - DMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gugu Marinho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Leonardo Trancoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Giorgian Arrascaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Velloso in the 29th minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Bernardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Lira's late challenge caught a Warren FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Lira helped the player get up and apologised. Luiz Eduardo Lira hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Leonardo Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Germano Pimenta got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Giorgian Arrascaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 43rd minute of play forced Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Giorgian Arrascaeta made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Trancoso. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Warren FC - DMZ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giorgian Arrascaeta was the one to do the kick off. Leonardo Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Saldanha in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Vinícius Soares hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to Red Dragon FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Vinícius Soares hit a great ball. Leonardo Trancoso came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Warren FC - DMZ's Maurício Saldanha. But to his dismay, Maurício Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Warren FC - DMZ's Maurício de Mendonça was substituted for Maurício Saldanha. 96 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Trancoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta. In the 97th minute, Yan Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Warren FC - DMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
