Warren FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgian Arrascaeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. S.C.CHUÍ's Cido Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save S.C.CHUÍ from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Warren FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Samuel Valladares hit a great ball. If Giorgian Arrascaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Cido Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta. Giorgian Arrascaeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cido Schmidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giorgian Arrascaeta ran back to his position shaking his head. When Giorgian Arrascaeta came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Warren FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgian Arrascaeta couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta got a free kick in the 31st minute. The wind increased when Giorgian Arrascaeta made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurício Saldanha in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Giorgian Arrascaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren FC - DMZ's Maurício Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Warren FC - DMZ made a substitution. Domingos Da Guía replaced Eliézer Carioca. When Aloísio Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Cido Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giorgian Arrascaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Warren FC - DMZ had played much better football throughout.
