Renan Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dráusio Ortiz made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Renan Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dráusio Ortiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renan Quirino in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Felipe Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cremonese FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lupere FC - DMZ the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Lupere FC - DMZ's Renan Quirino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dráusio Ortiz. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. After 26 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Barros. Thanks to some nice moves Renan Quirino could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Dráusio Ortiz however easily saved by the left post. In the 32nd match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Adilson Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Arce in the 35th minute of the match. Adilson Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão Cosme in the 37th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Marcus Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lupere FC - DMZ's Adilson Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renan Quirino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Renan Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Ortiz having to interfere. Renan Quirino struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dráusio Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupere FC - DMZ. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alfredão Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Adilson Palmeira made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Renan Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Renan Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráusio Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cremonese FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zézinho Passos was slow to take the kick. During this time Lupere FC - DMZ's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zézinho Passos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dráusio Ortiz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dráusio Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Quirino in the 62nd minute of the match. Cremonese FC's Dráusio Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Alvarenga in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Felipe Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cremonese FC and the Lupere FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cremonese FC's Felipe Lara got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Renan Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cremonese FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Renatinho Gaúcho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Quirino in the 70th minute of play forced Cremonese FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráusio Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Cremonese FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
