Cleiton Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleiton Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Barrera 2.0's Christian Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barrera 2.0 from getting a goal against them. Gerson Berger tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Christian Castro. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes FC Barrera 2.0's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Maria Teixeira who took care of the corner kick. José Maria Teixeira made a great header on Red Dragon FC - DMZ's corner, it was just that FC Barrera 2.0's Christian Castro managed to reach the ball for a save. Leonardo Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. José Maria Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emílio Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Christian Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Velasco in the 32nd minute of play forced Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Claudinho de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Pimenta's late challenge caught a FC Barrera 2.0's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germano Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. Germano Pimenta hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Leonardo Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Barbosa in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Claudinho de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Christian Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Dragon FC - DMZ. After 65 played minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Lira. In the 69th minute José Maria Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Barbosa in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fábio Barbosa got free with Leonardo Trancoso in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonardo Trancoso was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Carlinhos Velasco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlinhos Velasco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Leonardo Trancoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlinhos Velasco in the 76th minute. Claudinho de Queiroz's late challenge caught a FC Barrera 2.0's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Red Dragon FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, FC Barrera 2.0's Durvalino Trevisan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonardo Trancoso. Leonardo Trancoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Luiz Fábio Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Leonardo Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barrera 2.0. Leonardo Trancoso made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Carlinhos Velasco sent off a good shot on target. The FC Barrera 2.0 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Barrera 2.0 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
