PIRATAS TFP's Hílton da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Hílton da Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elói Silva during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Elói Silva got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, PIRATAS TFP's Cafu Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cido Schmidt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thomás Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. PIRATAS TFP's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Fábio Sabóia scored to the left of an out of position Diguinho Nóbrega, making the score, 1-1. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when PIRATAS TFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Campidelis came free, but Diguinho Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Jano Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PIRATAS TFP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C.CHUÍ the free kick. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's Jano Macedo got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Tomás Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diguinho Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Cafu Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Campidelis made a kick off. Cafu Silveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cido Schmidt came out and tried to block the shot, but Cafu Silveira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Campidelis in the 65th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Diguinho Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Hílton da Silva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cido Schmidt, passed just outside the right post. After 79 played minutes S.C.CHUÍ got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Marquez. Cafu Silveira took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cido Schmidt. Cido Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Cafu Silveira put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Cido Schmidt. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Rossi during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Claudinho Rossi hit a great ball. Cido Schmidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafu Silveira in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Cafu Silveira notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of S.C.CHUÍ's Cido Schmidt. Cido Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The S.C.CHUÍ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PIRATAS TFP's performance. The match ended with a win for PIRATAS TFP.
