An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudemiro Fragoso in the 4th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Diego Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner. Fernando Lucas went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Samurai Champions FC's zone, Claudemiro Fragoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Alves came out of the goal and Claudemiro Fragoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Deivid Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Club Mavericks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 20 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Xande Gay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mané Catarinense. 22 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sport Club Mavericks's Jairo Bastos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kiko Antunes in the 24 minute of the game. When Sport Club Mavericks's Deivid Fantini in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Xande Gay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Alves came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso. But to his dismay, Claudemiro Fragoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 42nd minute, Claudemiro Fragoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Viana to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudemiro Fragoso scored 0-7 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sport Club Mavericks's Hélio Nascimento was substituted for Claudemiro Fragoso. Sport Club Mavericks made a substitution. Sílvio Luiz de Godoi replaced Jairo Bastos. In the 62nd minute, Hélio Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio Nascimento in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Alves saved Samurai Champions FC from getting behind. Elder Arantes in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diego Alves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st match minute, Samurai Champions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Toledo to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Hélio Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Alves. Samurai Champions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélio Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Allan Maia made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's Conrado Sanches. Elder Arantes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Diego Alves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 80th minute of the game Kiko Antunes made a throw-in which Allan Maia played forward. In the 82nd minute Hélio Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Alves made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Elder Arantes sent off a good shot on target. After 89th play minutes Elder Arantes shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Diego Alves and just under the crossbar into goal. 93 minutes into the game, Hélio Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Diego Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
