Acácio Ramos made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Guga Negri sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto Mesquita came free, but Acácio Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Wágner Fox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- defense, Ni Feng Nan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Quadros. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Quadros should have stopped the shot. Cícero Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Ni Feng Nan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Frederico Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Vianna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Warren FC - DMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
