After 10 played minutes S.C.CHUÍ got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Trigo. S.C.CHUÍ's Cido Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save S.C.CHUÍ from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes S.C.CHUÍ got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Trigo. S.C.CHUÍ's Cido Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Correia in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Gerson Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C.CHUÍ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerson Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cido Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cido Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Toledo in the 31st minute of play. Jeferson Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeferson Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when Samurai Champions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomás Campidelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Alves was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomás Campidelis made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Samurai Champions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Correia to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Campidelis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 54th playminute. Fábio Sabóia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in S.C.CHUÍ's zone, Mané Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Schmidt came out of the goal and Mané Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cido Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Toledo in the 67th minute of play. Alex Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cido Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerson Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Alves having to interfere. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when S.C.CHUÍ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Alex Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cido Schmidt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 90th play minutes Mané Catarinense shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Cido Schmidt and just under the crossbar into goal.
