In the last second Cido Schmidt throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vladimir Trigo in the 5thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to S.C.CHUÍ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Luisão Trigo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Donato Arantes got a free kick in the 7th minute. Cido Schmidt was a little too slow when Diego Velloso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 12th minute, Tomás Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Raimundo Félix shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cido Schmidt but with some difficulty. Dida Capixaba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Luiz Fábio Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cido Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cido Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to S.C.CHUÍ getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Luisão Trigo hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Diego Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Umberto Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when S.C.CHUÍ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Campidelis to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Diego Velloso made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cido Schmidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomás Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dida Capixaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C.CHUÍ. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when S.C.CHUÍ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cido Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Trigo in the 71st minute of the match. Cido Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Vladimir Trigo's late challenge caught a S.C.CHUÍ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimir Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Vladimir Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luiz Fábio Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s protests and gave Luiz Fábio Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. Dida Capixaba came out of the goal and Tomás Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.C.CHUÍ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-.
