He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 23 minutes of play, Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Deivid Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sport Club Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deivid Fantini couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute of the game Vinícius Soares made a throw-in which Claudinho de Queiroz played forward. In the 32nd match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Lucas to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Trancoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Deivid Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Leonardo Trancoso made a huge save. The Sport Club Mavericks fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Xande Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Ceresso in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Trancoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 0-4 became the score in the 61st minute when Claudemiro Fragoso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Sport Club Mavericks's Leonardo Trancoso threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hélio Nascimento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Emílio Ceresso got a free kick in the 70th minute. Leonardo Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Nascimento in the 71st minute of the match. Sport Club Mavericks's Hélio Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Hélio Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Red Dragon FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Leonardo Trancoso came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Elder Arantes. But to his dismay, Elder Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fernando Lucas hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Gualter Tepedino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay didn't even have to move. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Nascimento in the 96th minute of play.
