Luiz Fernando Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Miau Stars's Gildo de Andrade got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Akira Beatrix put in a rough tackle. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Miau Stars! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-. José Augusto Mesquita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edu Prata. 2-1. In the 73rd minute José Augusto Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miau Stars's Edu Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Mesquita in the 75th minute of play. Edu Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guga Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Luiz Paulo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guga Negri got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Miau Stars's zone, José Augusto Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edu Prata came out of the goal and José Augusto Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
