The crowd rose to their feet as Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulysses Novaes. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romário Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Claudemiro Fragoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulysses Novaes. Lupere FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudemiro Fragoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudemiro Fragoso in the 55th minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Ulysses Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Claudemiro Fragoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ulysses Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Marcel Brodel in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sport Club Mavericks's Serafim Toledo.
