Henrique Mineiro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Barrera 2.0 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Barbosa hit a great ball. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Dida Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Barbosa in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Luiz Fábio Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vladimir Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barrera 2.0's zone, Diego Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Castro came out of the goal and Diego Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Luiz Fábio Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Capixaba. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fábio Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half FC Barrera 2.0 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlinhos Velasco made a kick off. When Carlinhos Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the FC Barrera 2.0 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Velasco couldn't finish the play. Dida Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Trevisan in the 61st minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Durvalino Trevisan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barrera 2.0's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- the free kick. Durvalino Trevisan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Dida Capixaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. FC Barrera 2.0 were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlinhos Velasco took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Barrera 2.0's corner Carlinhos Velasco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dida Capixaba quite easily take care of the ball. After 74 minutes, Gerson Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barrera 2.0 and the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Barrera 2.0 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gerson Berger hit a great ball. Christian Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Henrique Mineiro got a free kick in the 79th minute. Luiz Fábio Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Dida Capixaba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durvalino Trevisan. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Dida Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Barbosa in the 83rd minute of play.
