Cristian Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Shevchenko's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Cristian Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Baptista went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Paulo de Lima hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Cristian Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice got free with Velcho Rolanski in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alan Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Teresópolis F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Baptista couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Baptista came free, but Cristian Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Teresópolis F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Puyol to maneuver through the defense. Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Velcho Rolanski having to make a save. 42 minutes into the game, Triforce Super Soccer's Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Velcho Rolanski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

In the 60th match minute, Teresópolis F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Messias to maneuver through the defense. If Michel Shevchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Salles came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Teresópolis F.C's Andrézinho Maciel. But to his dismay, Andrézinho Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Teresópolis F.C made a substitution. Lucjan Klewinski replaced Fred Viana. Michel Shevchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Luiz Paulo de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velcho Rolanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velcho Rolanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice in the 83rd minute of play. Teresópolis F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
