Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Saiko FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Vicit FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Zé Pedro Fontes hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tebaldo Comas during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12thth minute of the game Mateus Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vicit FC's Cauã Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cauã Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cauã Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Bati in the 18th minute of the match. Cauã Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Alfredinho Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saiko FC's Sixto Ondino got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vicit FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alfredinho Tasso hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Eliseu Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauã Guedes. Vicit FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Vicit FC booed when Saiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauã Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseu Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Waldemar Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saiko FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Vicit FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sixto Ondino took the corner. Zé Pedro Fontes tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cauã Guedes. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Saiko FC from getting a goal against them. Zé Sabóia made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Tebaldo Comas sent off a good shot on target. Vicit FC's Gernando Borges was substituted for Porfiro Catalan. In the 48th match minute, Saiko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Bati to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vicit FC booed when Saiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Leão in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Eliseu Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Borges in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 minutes Saiko FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfredinho Tasso who took care of the corner kick. Alfredinho Tasso made a great header on Vicit FC's corner, it was just that Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia managed to reach the ball for a save. Cauã Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Bati in the 64th minute of play. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tebaldo Comas in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute Tebaldo Comas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Samuca Leão notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia. Zé Sabóia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicit FC's Cauã Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Vicit FC from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute Gabriel Bati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauã Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauã Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseu Fonseca went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saiko FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
