With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicit FC's Pedro Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Luz in the 16th minute of play. Michel Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Pedro Mazza made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrinho Cardozo got free with Pedro Mazza in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicit FC were furious when Alfredinho Tasso was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gino Antunes in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Mazza saved Vicit FC from getting behind. Gino Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 23 de Novembro FC - DMZ had played much better football throughout.
