João Pedro Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 10th minute Gabriel Bati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Saiko FC booed when Benprev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Mateus Catarinense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Pedro Reis, 2-0. Dé Severo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Mateus Catarinense came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and João Pedro Reis could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Bati in the 31st minute of play forced Benprev's goalkeeper João Pedro Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Guto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Pedro Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseu Fonseca went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Trancoso during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Saiko FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Benprev:s goal. Dé Severo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Zé Paulo Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Benprev's protests and gave Zé Paulo Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Benprev fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Sixto Ondino shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 54 played minutes Benprev got a freekick which was hit by Soner Şentürk. After 56 played minutes, Saiko FC's Jairo Trancoso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Pedro Reis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saiko FC reached it. Guto Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zé Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guto Mendonça in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zé Sabóia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eliseu Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Pedro Reis having to make a save. Gabriel Bati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedro Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Bati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Eliseu Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Benprev's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Fonseca came free, but João Pedro Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guto Mendonça got free with Zé Sabóia in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute of the match Benprev got a corner. Saiko FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dé Severo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Benprev's Dé Severo to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé Sabóia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Benprev's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Fonseca came free, but João Pedro Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Reis came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Saiko FC's Gabriel Bati. But to his dismay, Gabriel Bati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Benprev's Dino Teles got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute, Eliseu Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Pedro Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. João Pedro Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseu Fonseca went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Saiko FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gabriel Bati hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes Benprev got a freekick which was hit by David Saraiva. For all the effort they put into the match, the Benprev players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Saiko FC.
