In the 43rd minute, Atlético Guidovalense's Chiquinho Correia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Löhr was the one to do the kick off. A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neto Queraria in the 51st minute of play. If Di Feng Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th match minute, A.C. Paulistano - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Pena to maneuver through the defense. Di Feng Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Campos having to interfere.
