Thorin SC's Luís Gustavo Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Leão in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd minute Fiori Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuca Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Tebaldo Comas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Gustavo Tande. Tebaldo Comas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 10 played minutes Vicit FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Tasso. Thorin SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Tebaldo Comas scored to the left of an out of position Luís Gustavo Tande, making the score, 2-0. In the 20th minute, Porfiro Catalan made a precise shot to the right of Luís Gustavo Tande. Thorin SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Leão in the 23rd minute of play forced Thorin SC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Vicit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Tinoco came free, but Pedro Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tebaldo Comas got free with Luís Gustavo Tande in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 minutes Thorin SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfredinho Tasso who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Zé Valadares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Thorin SC's Luís Gustavo Tande did a great save. After having played for 29 minutes, Samuca Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicit FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fiori Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Pedro Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thorin SC. Tebaldo Comas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Tande made a huge save. Tebaldo Comas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luís Gustavo Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Leão in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Luís Gustavo Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Samuca Leão might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Gustavo Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuca Leão ran back to his position shaking his head. Samuca Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Luís Gustavo Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tebaldo Comas in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Samuca Leão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thorin SC's Luís Gustavo Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Porfiro Catalan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, Thorin SC's Wanderson Saraiva got a free kick in the 68th minute. Luís Gustavo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tebaldo Comas in the 71st minute of play. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Zé Valadares with Tebaldo Comas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 74 minutes into the match, Porfiro Catalan notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Thorin SC's Luís Gustavo Tande. Luís Gustavo Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adilson Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adilson Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicit FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
