After 2 played minutes Thorin SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Arce. 8 minutes into the match, Thorin SC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Tande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Carioca. 11 minutes into the game, Atlético Guidovalense's Neto Queraria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Luís Gustavo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Correia in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Thorin SC defense, Tony Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Gustavo Tande. The Thorin SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Gustavo Tande should have stopped the shot. Luís Gustavo Tande was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Marco Löhr capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Löhr really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. With 35 minutes on the clock, Zé Pedro Vianna commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Luís Gustavo Tande had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Gildo Pimenta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luís Gustavo Tande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Carioca in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute, Adilson Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Thorin SC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Löhr came free, but Luís Gustavo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

In the 68th minute, Tony Carioca made a precise shot to the right of Luís Gustavo Tande. Thorin SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. 70 minutes into the match, Thorin SC's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Correia came free, but Luís Gustavo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Gustavo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Löhr in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Löhr in the 73rd minute of play forced Thorin SC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Neto Queraria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Guidovalense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. 13-0 became the score in the 80th minute when Marco Löhr elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Aníbal Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thorin SC's Luís Gustavo Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Gustavo Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Carioca in the 85th minute of the match. Marco Löhr scored 14-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Gustavo Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Löhr in the 91st minute of play forced Thorin SC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Gustavo Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Atlético Guidovalense walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
