Pedro Mazza came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Breguete FC's Roderick van Boxel. But to his dismay, Roderick van Boxel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Artur Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tebaldo Comas in the 13th minute of the match. Vicit FC's Pedro Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Vicit FC from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Roderick van Boxel fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Pedro Mazza. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Breguete FC's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. The nice shot from Roderick van Boxel in the 16thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pedro Mazza had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. A collision led to Breguete FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eugênio de Carvalho hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Samuca Leão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Pernambucano. Breguete FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuca Leão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Roderick van Boxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Pedro Mazza made a huge save. With a little luck, Vicit FC's Pedro Mazza got control of the ball when Roderick van Boxel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Tebaldo Comas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vicit FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 34 played minutes, Breguete FC's Attila Iványi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Mazza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Breguete FC reached it. Pedro Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roderick van Boxel in the 36th minute. Attila Iványi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Tebaldo Comas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vicit FC and the Breguete FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Vicit FC got a freekick which was hit by Tebaldo Comas. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Valdir Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Breguete FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute Antônio Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Tebaldo Comas notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Breguete FC's Artur Pernambucano. Artur Pernambucano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Pedro Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roderick van Boxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Breguete FC's Artur Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tebaldo Comas in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Vicit FC booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roderick van Boxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Breguete FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vicit FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Vicit FC.
