In the 6th minute, Lupere FC - DMZ's Alan das Neves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Jardel got free with Pedro Mazza in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Fabrício Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lupere FC - DMZ's Telmo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tebaldo Comas in the 21st minute of play. Vicit FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Alan das Neves scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Mazza, making the score, 3-0. In the 32nd minute Alan das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Zé Pedro Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Di Croce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Pedro Mazza made a huge save. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Jardel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Fabrício Jardel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Mazza. Vicit FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrício Jardel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Samuca Leão hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Jardel in the 96th minute of play forced Vicit FC's goalkeeper Pedro Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 99 minutes, Zé Valadares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vicit FC and the Lupere FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vicit FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
