João Pedro Reis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Benprev's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Baptista came free, but João Pedro Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Teresópolis F.C were awarded a corner. Oso Bruñon went to the cornerflag to take it. João Pedro Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Baptista in the 20th minute of play. João Pedro Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Shevchenko in the 26th minute of the match. João Pedro Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Teresópolis F.C's Sidnei Machado got a free kick in the 31st minute. William Bengtsson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michel Shevchenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Pedro Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Viana's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Fred Viana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Pedro Reis was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Teresópolis F.C's Lucjan Klewinski was substituted for Fred Viana. If Giovani Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Teresópolis F.C fully deserved thier win.
