The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Olinda FMZ DMZ's zone, Velin Golubarev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ixidor Lelerre came out of the goal and Velin Golubarev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Perivaldo Loyola to fire away a dangerous shot which Ixidor Lelerre despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Olinda FMZ DMZ's Ixidor Lelerre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Loyola in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Velin Golubarev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ixidor Lelerre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th match minute, Olinda FMZ DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Raymon to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Velin Golubarev made a precise shot to the right of Ixidor Lelerre. Olinda FMZ DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Velin Golubarev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ixidor Lelerre having to make a save. Ixidor Lelerre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Velin Golubarev's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Velin Golubarev in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ixidor Lelerre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ixidor Lelerre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velin Golubarev, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Loyola in the 29th minute of play forced Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalkeeper Ixidor Lelerre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Loyola came free, but Ixidor Lelerre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Velin Golubarev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Velin Golubarev got free in front of the goal in the 38th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ixidor Lelerre was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Velin Golubarev in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Velin Golubarev in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ixidor Lelerre saved Olinda FMZ DMZ from getting behind. Gino Tonić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Perez in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Velin Golubarev made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ixidor Lelerre was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Velin Golubarev made a kick off. Zé Carlos Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Velin Golubarev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ixidor Lelerre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Velin Golubarev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Velin Golubarev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Velin Golubarev in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ixidor Lelerre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Loyola in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Velin Golubarev made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Olinda FMZ DMZ's Ixidor Lelerre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Velin Golubarev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Ixidor Lelerre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th minute Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- were awarded a corner. Perivaldo Loyola went to the cornerflag to take it. Jan Piatek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ixidor Lelerre made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Loyola came free, but Ixidor Lelerre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Olinda FMZ DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ixidor Lelerre should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Velin Golubarev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ixidor Lelerre was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Loyola in the 82nd minute of play forced Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalkeeper Ixidor Lelerre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Bittencourt hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Perivaldo Loyola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ixidor Lelerre. The goal made the score 0-9. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
