Xande Gay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 18th minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Zézinho Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno made a precise shot to the right of Xande Gay. Sport Club Mavericks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Fenomeno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xande Gay was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Fenomeno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sport Club Mavericks were furious when Conrado Sanches was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sport Club Mavericks. Xande Gay went to the wrong direction when Elias Prata was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 56th minute Hélio Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulkadir Eraslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio Nascimento in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdulkadir Eraslan saved Miau Stars from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Fenomeno got free with Xande Gay in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Prata made a great header on Miau Stars's corner, it was just that Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay managed to reach the ball for a save. Miau Stars's Pedrinho Fahlmann was substituted for Ronaldo Fenomeno. After 76 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Nascimento. Carlos Eduardo Diniz made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's Serafim Toledo. When Claudemiro Fragoso fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Club Mavericks's protests and gave Claudemiro Fragoso a yellow card for diving instead. Abdulkadir Eraslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudemiro Fragoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Miau Stars walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
