Gino Tonić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacinto de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gino Tonić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Zé Carlos Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Perivaldo Loyola's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velin Golubarev in the 12th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Velin Golubarev. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidmantas Ubartas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Vaz in the 21st minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto de Laras short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Gino Tonić to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 30 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Velin Golubarev came free, but Antônio Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Loyola in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Jacinto de Lara took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gino Tonić to make any attempt to save it. Jacinto de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gino Tonić having to make a save. Antônio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velin Golubarev in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto de Lara got free with Gino Tonić in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jacinto de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Clemente Pires hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jacinto de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the game, Jacinto de Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gino Tonić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antônio Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vidmantas Ubartas in the 66th minute. Antônio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Vaz in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jacinto de Sousa hit a great ball. Jacinto de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vidmantas Ubartas in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vidmantas Ubartas got free with Antônio Borges in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gino Tonić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto de Lara's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. A collision led to Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Velin Golubarev hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PIRATAS TFP had won after a very even match.
