The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Mendes. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Remigiusz Gabis sent off a good shot on target. Horia Lupu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lech Urban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horia Lupu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 18th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lech Urban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzhan Apaydın in the 20th minute of play. Luís Fernando Arce made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dadá Maravilha. Dadá Maravilha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Paulo Barreto having to make a save. In the 29th minute Dadá Maravilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pedro Paulo Barreto made a huge save. Oğuzhan Apaydın scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lech Urban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Marcos Linares in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Barrera 2.0's Edu Matorin. A collision led to Airborne FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Paulo Pogba hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, FC Barrera 2.0's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after César Sampaio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. César Sampaio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lech Urban firmly grabbed it by the left post. Horia Lupu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Urban having to interfere. Oğuzhan Apaydın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Urban having to interfere. FC Barrera 2.0 made a substitution. Enzo Miccio replaced Dadá Maravilha. FC Barrera 2.0's Silvio Maria was substituted for Bruno Guimarães. A hard shot 74 in the game by Oğuzhan Apaydın from a close distance when the talented Lech Urban managed to make a qualified save. FC Barrera 2.0's players were relieved. Pedro Paulo Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Miccio's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Oğuzhan Apaydın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper Lech Urban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Enzo Miccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Miccio in the 94th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Airborne FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Horia Lupu hit a great ball. The Airborne FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
