The audience thought a goal was coming when Dito Penha got free with Xande Gay in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Cauan Batista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Batista in the 13th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Xande Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Claudemiro Fragoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Paro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio Nascimento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Although New Miran FC had been in control for most of the match, Sport Club Mavericks still came away with the win.
