Airborne FC's Danilo Principe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dé Vander in the 19 minute of the game. The supporters of PIRATAS TFP booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes of play, PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Paulo Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Airborne FC's Antônio Borges threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oğuzhan Apaydın, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paulo Pogba made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Oğuzhan Apaydın however managed to control. The Airborne FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Airborne FC's Oğuzhan Apaydın looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 39th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuzhan Apaydın might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antônio Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oğuzhan Apaydın ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute Oğuzhan Apaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes, Jacinto de Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PIRATAS TFP and the Airborne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jacinto de Lara hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto de Lara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antônio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzhan Apaydın in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Jacinto de Lara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Paulo Barreto. The goal made the score 2-2. Marcos Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Clemente Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
