Xande Gay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 35th minute Zézinho Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xande Gay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Santos in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40thth minute of the game Claudemiro Fragoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PREZULO FC's Jarbas Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarbas Quadros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zézinho Lopez to make the kick off. Serafim Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jarbas Quadros made a huge save. If Marquinhos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
