Márcio de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Zatorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Giovani Luz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Giovani Luz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Giovani Luz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 8 minutes into the game, one of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Davut Altınpınar had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Peter Santos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Arí Furtado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Márcio de Brito. Samurai Champions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arí Furtado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Samurai Champions FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Amílton Cordeiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Piatek in the 20th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Piatek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Márcio de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davut Altınpınar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The corner ended in Valentín Pascal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Davut Altınpınar did a great save. 28 minutes into the match, Samurai Champions FC's Amílton Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davut Altınpınar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Márcio de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Mauro Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Quirino in the 36th minute of play. Samurai Champions FC's Șerban Bărbânță managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sílvio Luiz Vieira in the 37 minute of the game. Peter Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Márcio de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Piatek in the 40th minute of the match. Davut Altınpınar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Amílton Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davut Altınpınar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- booed when Samurai Champions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Piatek to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Jan Piatek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Márcio de Brito.
