The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon Abreu got free with Xande Gay in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Lopez managed to work through Red Dragon FC - DMZ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Zézinho Lopez dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some careless play in the Sport Club Mavericks defense, Maicon Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xande Gay. The Sport Club Mavericks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xande Gay should have stopped the shot. Adilson de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudemiro Fragoso in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Xande Gay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maicon Abreu. Xande Gay was a little too slow when Adrianinho Ramos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Filip Felenak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Xande Gay made a huge save. Adrianinho Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Xande Gay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Alfredão Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Adrianinho Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xande Gay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Abreu in the 37th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Xande Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adilson de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Hélio Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Red Dragon FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Heidemann to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Nascimento came free, but Adilson de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Hélio Nascimento notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Adilson de Amorim. Adilson de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maicon Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrianinho Ramos took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xande Gay. Xande Gay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Ramos in the 60th minute of play. Adilson de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Xande Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Abreu in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Abreu in the 75th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Xande Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Filip Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xande Gay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xande Gay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Felenak, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Xande Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Abreu in the 80th minute of play. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thiago Silvan in the 81st minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Maicon Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Pavlo Kotyuk was substituted for Alfredão Paiva. Sport Club Mavericks's Emerson Tande was substituted for Zézinho Lopez. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sport Club Mavericks fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Sport Club Mavericks:s Xande Gay showed great skill when he stopped Thiago Silvan:s penalty. 88 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Felenak came free, but Xande Gay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Red Dragon FC - DMZ's zone, Claudemiro Fragoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adilson de Amorim came out of the goal and Claudemiro Fragoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Felenak came free, but Xande Gay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red Dragon FC - DMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sport Club Mavericks for a fine match.
