Cido Recife blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gino Tonić having to make a save. 12 minutes into the game, Cido Recife lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Gino Tonić. Cido Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gino Tonić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Luiz Capixaba got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gino Tonić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Márcio de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerônimo Moreira made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samurai Champions FC's Amílton Cordeiro. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Loyola in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Recife in the 35th minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Gino Tonić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Amílton Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Tonić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Vaz in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Vaz in the 44th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velin Golubarev in the 46th minute of play. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Perivaldo Loyola in the 47th minute. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Perivaldo Loyola was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Márcio de Brito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Velin Golubarev to strike the kick off in the second half. Zé Carlos Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Márcio de Brito made a huge save. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Recife in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Samurai Champions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Vaz came free, but Márcio de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Velin Golubarev. Samurai Champions FC's Franklin do Nascimento was substituted for Cido Recife. A collision led to Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Velin Golubarev hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Vaz in the 75th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito got control of the ball when Zé Carlos Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Franklin do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gino Tonić was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 83 minutes, Amílton Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samurai Champions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Márcio de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito got control of the ball when Velin Golubarev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Velin Golubarev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Márcio de Brito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, Samurai Champions FC could leave the field as winners, despite Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- having more of the ball for most of the match.
