Márcio de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Alves in the 16th minute. Ixidor Lelerre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cido Recife in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when Olinda FMZ DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ixidor Lelerre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ixidor Lelerre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Recife in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Samurai Champions FC's Cido Recife made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Recife came free, but Ixidor Lelerre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Clemente Goiano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Márcio de Brito. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 39th minute of the match Samurai Champions FC got a corner. Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Eduardo Batista ran over to the corner to take the kick. Samurai Champions FC's Amílton Cordeiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ixidor Lelerre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ixidor Lelerre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Recife in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cido Recife was the one to do the kick off. Cido Recife might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ixidor Lelerre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cido Recife ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 52nd minute Cido Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixidor Lelerre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Olinda FMZ DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Meira to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Recife came free, but Ixidor Lelerre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin do Nascimento in the 65th minute of play forced Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalkeeper Ixidor Lelerre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Samurai Champions FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Samurai Champions FC's Franklin do Nascimento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ixidor Lelerre acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Valentín Pascal. Franklin do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin do Nascimento came free, but Ixidor Lelerre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalkeeper Ixidor Lelerre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklin do Nascimento. If Franklin do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Inácio Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samurai Champions FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
