The audience thought a goal was coming when Sanda Cutov got free with Long Gang Sen in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olívio Ribas struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Carol Stinga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fura Balizas. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Fura Balizas were victorious despite being under pressure from Romania for much of the match.
