A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Juan Raúl Riquelme hit a great ball. Hungary's Hegedus Henrik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teo Pacorro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter Miami CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teo Pacorro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sean Nabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Fodor Daniel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Blas Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Pacorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Katona Janos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sean Nabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Inter Miami CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Hegedus Henrik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro did a great save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Urtungo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 55th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Raúl Riquelme kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Takacs Tibor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the Inter Miami CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Urtungo in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Urtungo in the 75th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Miami CF from getting a goal against them. Blas Urtungo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Inter Miami CF were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
