They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. After 54 minutes, Alex Dijoux made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Quique Cordoba replaced Alex Dijoux. Jonathan Criado got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adria Bielsa. Quique Cordoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Carles Cherro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spain's supporters rose to their feet, but Carles Cherro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clark Kent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Criado to maneuver through the defense. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
