Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Stelian Joldea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomasz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Rabellino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomasz Piwko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Aranda went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Toledo scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomasz Piwko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stelian Joldea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. Tomasz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reşat Rasif got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Apolo Beltza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabriel Ascaso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If David Aranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelian Joldea in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Ascaso saved Spain from getting behind. Gabriel Ascaso was a little too slow when Stelian Joldea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Toledo made a kick off. Tomasz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Omar Toledo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Tomasz Piwko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Toledo. 68 minutes into the game, Adria Bielsa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Tomasz Piwko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagmar Zupančič in the 76th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Joldea in the 80th minute of the match. Matias Ferrandis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Apolo Beltza. But to his dismay, Apolo Beltza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Reşat Rasif in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spain's goalie prevented a goal. After 87 minutes of play, Spain's Pau Herrero made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomasz Piwko was left in no man's land by his defense there! KS Piastów Sosnowiec were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Apolo Beltza took the corner. After taking down the ball on KS Piastów Sosnowiec's corner Apolo Beltza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Ascaso quite easily take care of the ball. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pau Herrero in the 96th minute of play. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
