Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasz Piwko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to KS Piastów Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Reşat Rasif hit a great ball. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reşat Rasif in the 15th minute. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th minute of play. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 23rd minute. Italy's Siricio Liotta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomasz Piwko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reşat Rasif in the 25th minute. A collision led to KS Piastów Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Reşat Rasif hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Flavio Vittori threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stelian Joldea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomasz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Siricio Liotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko did a great save. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Zgonina came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porziano Marchitelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Siricio Liotta. 44 minutes into the game, Gomberto Picozzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Piastów Sosnowiec the free kick. After 44 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Gomberto Picozzi. In the 45th minute of the match Tytus Kajfasz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 47th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stelian Joldea to strike the kick off in the second half. Stelian Joldea scored 1-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Zgonina in the 62nd minute of play. Sigfrido Auletta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Piwko having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Reşat Rasif made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomasz Piwko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Porziano Marchitelli went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 78th minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Italy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. The audience was convinced that Apolo Beltza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The supporters of Italy booed when KS Piastów Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagmar Zupančič didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tanek Ratulowski during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. KS Piastów Sosnowiec were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Italy for a fine match.
