Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zena Busacca hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamel Autret in the 20th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Autret in the 22nd minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Oshyros ll's goal looked a bit too open when Porziano Marchitelli came free, but Fumo Pocock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oshyros ll's Fumo Pocock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Egoitz got free with Flavio Vittori in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

After a rather tough play, Italy's Gomberto Picozzi got a free kick in the 50th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Cristian Egoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Cristian Egoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Lucado in the 57th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Oshyros ll getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Djamel Autret hit a great ball. Fumo Pocock made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fumo Pocock was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Oshyros ll made a substitution. François Marotte replaced Cristian Egoitz. In the 70th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Oshyros ll's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Italy's Siricio Liotta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fumo Pocock in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Fumo Pocock made a huge save. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamel Autret, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Sigfrido Auletta came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fumo Pocock could save by the left post. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Porziano Marchitelli hit a great ball. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Sal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Fumo Pocock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Curto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match Italy got a corner. Oshyros ll's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siricio Liotta ran over to the corner to take the kick.
