A very good chance for a goal. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Díaz in the 17th minute of play. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ramón Díaz sped through Switzerland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. In the 25th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Iseli to maneuver through the defense. Constantino Gaizkine was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. In the 40th minute, Ramón Díaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Tood's Constantino Gaizkine got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Díaz in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hias Nüssli saved Switzerland from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Constantino Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Tood made a substitution. Artur Sakowicz replaced Constantino Gaizkine. In the 49th match minute, Deportivo Tood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Gaizkine to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramón Díaz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ceferino Quinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hias Nüssli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Deportivo Tood's Ramón Díaz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 65 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tood's Ramón Díaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hias Nüssli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustav Iseli hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Díaz came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Switzerland defense, Ramón Díaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. The Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hias Nüssli should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ramón Díaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Tood's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Díaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Tood's Miroslaw Budarz was substituted for Artur Sakowicz. A sloppy throw-in by Gustav Iseli in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo Tood's Miroslaw Budarz. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Ramón Díaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and Ramón Díaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Miroslaw Budarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Díaz in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hias Nüssli saved Switzerland from getting behind. After 97 minutes Switzerland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ceferino Quinto who took care of the corner kick. Switzerland's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
